My Artistic Interests
I have a wide range of artistic interests and I enjoy exploring different styles and mediums of art. Some of my favorite types of art include contemporary art, abstract art, and street art. I also enjoy visiting museums and galleries to see new exhibitions and discover new artists. I find that art is a great way to express myself and to connect with others who share similar interests.
My Artist Statement
My work is an extension of childhood play and imagination— something I believe we never truly outgrow. As a child, I spent hours with the wooden dolls my mother painted for me, giving them stories, personalities, and lives within the walls of my dollhouse. Over time, the structure of the house began to feel limiting. My imagination wanted rooms, narratives, and worlds that no dollhouse could hold. That curiosity carried into digital spaces, especially in Minecraft, where I built entire communities and stepped into countless perspectives. Creating these worlds deepened my empathy and shaped how I understand others. Children do this naturally: they are open, emotionally perceptive, and unafraid of contradiction. Today, my practice is both reflective and invitational. By creating surreal interior spaces populated by humans, animals, and imagined figures, I reconnect with my inner child while also hoping to invite viewers to do the same. I want the work to trigger curiosity, daydreaming, and imaginative empathy-encouraging others to step into unfamiliar perspectives and remember the freedom of making meaning through play.
